We base place and event pages on official sources where they exist: organiser websites, municipal announcements, venue pages and reputable news reports. When a date or detail cannot be confirmed we say so and link to the source so you can check it yourself.
A business cannot pay to be described more favourably. Where a listing carries a "Sponsored" label, it is clearly marked and the text is still written to be useful to the reader, including limitations.
Ads and affiliate links fund the site. They are kept separate from editorial decisions. See the affiliate disclosure.
